  3. OVERVIEW
  4. --------
  5.     The Advanced Power Management (APM) examination utility APMEXAM
  6. discovers the APM features available on a personal computer, for both
  7. desktop and laptop systems.  You can use it to evaluate laptops before
  8. purchase to verify that the one you are interested in will support the
  9. most modern power managment features.

  11. USAGE
  12. -----
  13.     Simply invoke APMEXAM and it will do the rest. It runs through
  14. the relevant APM BIOS calls defined in the version 1.1 APM
  15. Specification, and displays success (PASS) or failure (FAIL) for each
  16. feature. The more successes it displays, the more closely the laptop
  17. implements the APM standard and the more power-saving features you can
  18. expect. With the current state in battery design that means longer
  19. battery life!
